The Centre for Translation and Comparative Cultural Studies was set up in 2005 within the School of Foreign Languages and Literature at Beijing Normal University. Its research focuses on various topics in translation studies and comparative studies between Western and Chinese culture. The Centre currently offers a master degree, a doctoral and a post-doctoral research program in the field of translation and comparative cultural studies.
